FAQ

Before Your Treatment:

The safety and well-being of all guests are a top priority.  If you are feeling ill prior to your appointment, please contact me immediately. I will be happy to reschedule your appointment. If you have any questions, concerns, or requests, please do not hesitate to bring them to my attention.

What should I expect?

Please come with a clean face, no jewelry, and arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete a skin & health care intake form. This is part of the initial consultation, the pertinent information you provide will help me to properly assess your skin. I will do a skin analysis, listen to your skincare concerns/goals, discuss the appropriate treatment for your skin, and then begin your treatment. We require all guests to wear a face mask and to wash their hands prior to your services. While in the treatment room you may remove your mask if you are having a  facial or lip treatment. Expect to leave your facial appointment feeling relaxed and revived.

Will my skin be red and irritated after my facial?

My facials focus on restoring and nourishing the skin with my soothing plant-based products. Most guests walk away from their facial looking refreshed and ready to take on the day with a gorgeous glow!

My facials do not include harsh treatments. Some of the products with more active botanical ingredients and/or my facial massage activates circulation, bringing a rosy flush to the skin. This typically eases within a couple of hours.

Drinking plenty of water to keep skin hydrated post-facial will help reduce any flushing. Remember that sun exposure, alcohol, and caffeine can also dehydrate skin and cause further redness.

Late Policy

If you are up to 20 minutes late for your 60-minute facial, you can have the remaining time at full cost. If you are up to 10 minutes late for your 30-minute facial, you can have the remaining time at full cost. Clients later than this will be asked to reschedule.
